As one of the most trusted commercial and home air quality testing companies, we are here to help!

Air quality testing involves sampling indoor air to determine the level of pollutants and contaminants, such as mold, and whether these levels pose health and safety risks to the occupants.

Those who should have their indoor air quality tested are people who may have unexplained odors in the home or business, a persistent cough, wheezing, or other unexplained health issues, experienced a water or sewer loss in their home or place of business, or simply suspect they have some pollutant or contaminant affecting their health in the indoor environment.

Yes, we offer our services to clients, including schools, offices, factories, medical and government facilities, etc.

We perform a visual inspection of the home or business. During the investigation, we will discuss the client’s concerns on-site. We will then look for signs of moisture, previous water damage, visible mold growth, and proper ventilation. We measure temperature and humidity levels throughout. Air samples are taken strategically throughout the home or business. Direct surface samples may also be taken.

You do not need to prepare for your evaluation. The results will be more accurate based on normal operating conditions in your home or business. We will close open windows before sampling.

A typical residential assessment will take approximately 1 hour, depending on the size and condition of the home. Commercial assessments may take longer as commercial spaces are usually much larger than a typical residence.

Air samples will reveal which types of molds are present and the spore count of each type. They will also determine whether the mold types and levels in the home are consistent with those in the outdoor environment or if the mold spore counts are higher than those in the outdoor environment.

We work with local licensed and certified laboratories that analyze samples. We understand that these situations can sometimes be stressful, so EAQS submits all samples with an expected 24-hour turnaround time.

Once the lab analysis is complete, the written assessment combines the visual information collected and the lab data to provide the client with a prescriptive remediation plan that includes corrective measures to help avoid the recurrence of the issue.

It is always best practice to have post-remediation testing done to ensure the efficacy of the remediation and to provide peace of mind that the contaminants have been removed from the space.
